CSOB Factoring profile

CSOB Factoring was founded in 1992, under the name of O.B.HELLER, as a joint venture of a Czech bank - Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka and an American company - Heller International Group (via its Austrian subsidiary). Heller International Group is one of the oldest specialists in this field of business and is based on high quality of provided financial services. It was founded by  Walter Heller in Chicago in 1919. Later, the company successfully brought the business into the Czech Republic. O.B.HELLER  was  the first factoring company operating in  the Czech market; in 1993 we offered financing of domestic receivables for the first time. In 1997 we established our subsidiary in Bratislava, the Slovak Republic. In 2003 we launched a new software called FactorLink, a modern tool for managing  factoring operations which makes communication with our clients very easy and enables our clients to access on-line information concerning factoring cooperation. In 2006 Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka became our sole shareholder and since this year we use the name CSOB Factoring.

Thanks to our long-term tradition and  membership in a strong financial group, we are able to offer and provide factoring services in the best quality. CSOB Factoring keeps its market share over 20 % in a long-term run. The total volume of assigned claims reached over CZK 26 billion in 2010.

CSOB Factoring is one of the founder members of Association of factoring companies and is a member of Czech leasing and financial association.
